K9 Kokua Maui began over a decade ago when we noticed houseless dogs on the Valley Isle lacked access to supplemental care, emergency care, spay/neuter services and owner education/accountability.

Affordable vet care is limited on Maui and being houseless can be extremely hard on a dog if ill, elder or in a remote area of the island with their humans.

SEEKING HELP ON MAUI :

  • Volunteers for outreach (must have some form of varying dog work experience).

  • Volunteers to transport a dog from a camp to one of our Maui vets.

  • Volunteers to work community both events.

  • Volunteers to assist our Sr. on Maui with various, small tasks from home. *must have reliable transportation and backroads knowledge of areas.
